This page sets out where the pictures on this website come from and which of them were produced with generative image software.
Photographs
The sixteen reference plants shown under Projects and on the solar page are photographs of built installations.
The portrait of the managing partner is a photograph. Neither carries a mark.
AI-generated illustrations
Every other picture on this website was produced with generative image software: with FLUX by Black Forest Labs and with the image models of OpenAI.
They show situations – a data centre campus at dusk, a substation, a construction site – and never a particular undertaking of Bright & Green. Where this website shows a specific project, it is named as one.
Each of these files carries provenance data to the C2PA standard (Content Credentials). It is stored inside the file and can be read with the tools made for that purpose.
The "AI Illustration" mark
Pictures produced on or after 2 August 2026 carry the mark AI Illustration in the lower right corner of the image. That is the day the transparency obligations of the European Union’s AI Regulation became applicable.
Pictures made before that day do not carry the mark. The same applies to the film on the home page.
Third-party trademarks
The logos of the technology partners are trademarks of the respective companies. They are used solely to identify the cooperation.
