Grid capacity before land and technology
The available connection capacity is the limiting factor of every project. Whether and when a grid connection of the required capacity is available decides the site – before the land requirement and before the technical design.
Bright & Green has worked in the energy sector for almost two decades. Grid connection, storage and generation have been the core business since the company was founded. What stands at the beginning of a project is therefore not the plot of land but the secured connection capacity.
What comes together at a site
An energy project is made by many parties working together: grid operators and energy suppliers, the municipality and its administration, environmental protection and engineering. It lives on close coordination – for the whole of its term.
Grid connection
Grid operators and energy suppliers are a project's most important partners. Without secured connection capacity, no project begins.
City administration
Environmental impact, building permits and emission limits are agreed with the city – with the aim of preserving and improving the quality of life on the ground.
